Customer Reviews

What a great downtown cafe full of friendly folks and terrific food . I was waiting for some paperwork to clear up and the folks next door at the DDS recommend I grab some breakfast. Glad I did . The atmosphere is bright and cheerful as soon as you walk in the door , and the U shaped lunch counter seems to hearken you back to an earlier era . The waitress was prompt in greeting me and nice enough to share her recommendations . I ordered a BEC biscuit and a side of grits . Almost ordered two sides of grits because for the price I assumed it was gonna be about two spoonfuls but it was actually a whole bowl . They were great too ! Often at diners I don't order grits because they can be lumpy or cold or way too thick , but these were hot and buttered and the perfect consistency . The bacon was crisp and perfectly cooked and the biscuit was home-made and unless I miss my guess , toasted . Both completed the fresh-fried egg well . I know it sounds like a simple meal , but sometimes the simple meals can be the hardest to make well . Not the case here . In a market full of breakfast mediocrity, Linda's turns out excellence . The young lady cooking took care to come around and check on the food after it was served . Can't wait to come back for lunch . Edit: Visited again yesterday afternoon for a late lunch/early supper . It was a dreary rainy day and a great one for chili-dogs , which were perfect . The folks are so friendly and treat you like family as soon as you sit down . Highly recommended at any time of day .

Nice retro diner look. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger and bacon was cooked while I waited. I Asked for crunchy fries and they were perfect. Saw a chocolate cake on the counter and enjoyed that for dessert. Great experience all around. I will be back!

Stopped at Linda's on our way through Toccoa & so glad we did! The food was delicious & service was great. I ordered the club sandwich & it was the best one I've had in a long time. My husband got the cheeseburger & said it was really good too. We'll definitely stop in again next time we're in town.

Slight changes to entrees requested were not fulfilled (cheeseburger instead of regular burger, mayonnaise on BLT instead of mustard) otherwise, food delicious, staff unable to process credit card payment (had t o use cash). Retro and vintage decor
